Antique Victorian Celluloid Angel pendant

Presented here is an Antique Victorian Angel head pendant. This little Angel has come all the way from Great Britain and was originally made in France. It is made from a very early Victorian Celluloid and was most likely made to look like Ivory and is Cruelty Free:) When I first purchased the cherub I was wondering how this could be worn. After doing some research I decided to sew a fancy neck ribbon to best show off this little gem. I did not attach a clasp or snaps yet and the edges are all finished off by hand. The face has a few surface scratches and a tiny dent to one cheek. These light surface cracks and do not go all the way thru. (See back) I never purchase anything damaged and use my professional discretion as to wether or not the piece still retains its beauty and functionality. This piece has passed all my tests:) This little Angel is over 100 years old and will no doubt last another 100 years with proper care. Right now it is 17 inches around. I have closed the ribbon with a little black safety pin so that it can be adjusted to the desired length.
