VINTAGE BESWICK BEATRIX POTTER APPLEY DAPPLY Figurine Statue Baking Mouse
This Beatrix Potter's Appley Dapply figurine is a precious mouse who is featured in "Appley Dapply's Nursery Rhymes", a collection of nursery rhymes written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter, and published by Frederick Warne & Co. in October 1917.
This figurine measures approximately 3 1/4" tall x 2 1/2” wide.
The figure was modeled by Albert Hallam and has Beswick's brown mark BP-3a used between 1973 and 1974.
This adorable little mouse has her hands full with a freshly baked tray of apple tarts and a bag full of sweet treats and bottle of refreshment. She is wearing her white apron decorated with a light blue flower border design and a bright blue bow around her neck. Appley's shoes are a bright blue matching her apron bow.
