Japanese Takahashi Cloisonné Trinket Vanity Box Butterflies Hand Painted Original Labels

Offered for your consideration is this Beautiful Trinket Vanity box made by Takahashi. The box is Porcelain. Vibrant Butterflies fly against a beautiful yellow/gold background color which features a brown interlocking ring design over the entire Box. The different butterflies range in size and are vibrantly colored with cobalt blue, light blue, dutch blue, spring green, lime green, sienna-brown, white, and light pink.

In addition to the butterflies, there are (4) amazing lotus flower located at the four corners of the lid. There is a sienna-brown border on the lid enclosed in bright gold band. The bottom of the box is fully decorated as well following the design on the lid. The interlocking circular pattern draws the animated design together.

Excellent Condition with no damage or repairs.

Signature/Marks: The bottom reads: CLOISONNÉ HAND DECORATED TAKAHASHI SAN FRANCISCO 1981© and the companies signature/mark stamp. There is a round circular foil label that reads: Takahashi San Francisco 94103 MADE IN JAPAN®.

Measurements: The Lid measures 4” in diameter. The bottom piece measures 3 ½” in diameter. The bottom piece is 1 ½” deep.
