Large Vintage Art Deco Celluloid Jewelry Box Case Art Nouveau Florals

This Beautiful Vintage Earring Presentation Box Case is created in an Art Deco Design/Shape. The celluloid is a soft creamy ivory color. A framed Art Nouveau Cut-Out Floral is located on the top center, with a pretty colored taupe felt as the background. The contrast of colors is beautiful.

The inside of the box is lined with blue colored felt and gold foil. The interior is original. There are 2 holes for the earrings and this bottom piece of felt can be removed so that you can fasten the back of the earrings. The inside of the top features a bright gold foil frame, scripted with “GENUINE MARCASITES HAND SET IN RHODIUM PLATED STERLING”.

Measurements: 4 1/2” L x 4” W with a height of 2”.

Signature/Marks: “DESIGN PAT. APPLIED FOR MADE IN U.S.A.” on the back.

Age: 1920's - 1930's

The Celluloid is in Most Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks or marks. Like New. There are no stains to the felt. Some fading.
The Hinge is in Most Excellent Working Condition.
