This Vintage Native American Necklace features a 17” Long, natural white shell Heishi bead necklace with natural blue turquoise stones and coral stones. The necklace secures with an old style, sterling silver fish-hook & figure-8 clasp.
The –Double- Sterling Silver Naja or Crescent is believed to be an all protector and good health grantor. This beautiful vintage Naja is hand-stamped in a Cornflower Design. Clean – quality – natural blue Morenci Mine Turquoise is set in smooth sterling silver bezels at the (3) finish points of the Naja.
Signature/Marks: The Naja is signed “BELL STERLING” in circular form with a Bell stamped in the center of the circle.
This is a beautiful example of “Tourist Era” Jewelry. The Bell Trading Company contracted with many Native American Silversmiths & Artists to produce jewelry for their different shops along the railroad lines in the Southwest from 1932 – 1960’s.
Weight: 37.2 grams which is equal to slightly more than 1 ounce.
