This Lovely Vintage Native American Navajo Rug features Natural and Vegetal Dyed, Hand-Spun Wool, with aniline dyed red wool in the corners. The Design is very well carried out and evenly placed over the tan colored field. The Field is enriched by the beautiful black and white border. The Rug is a fine weave, counting (10) Warps by (26) Wefts to the square inch.
The Rug lies beautifully flat on the floor or hangs well on the wall.
The Rug measures 37” x 51” and being Hand Woven is slightly wider at one end.
Excellent Condition. This Rug is from Western Reservation. Please see the map for more details of this area.
Many Rugs are displayed on the wall as Fine Art as the case with this one. There are no repairs. There is no odor to the rug; it comes from a smoke-free environment. We have been in our Family Oriental Rug Business since the 1930's.
