From our Collection of fine Native American Vintage Jewelry comes this fantastic Zuni Set consisting of a Bolo Tie, which features a hidden bale which allows you to wear it as a pendant, Cuff and Belt Buckle. It is not uncommon to see women as well as men wearing full sets such as this one. * Just look in any of the Top Fashion Magazines!
* - A smaller version of the buckle alone - is shown in Peter Schiffer’s Book, “Indian Jewelry on The Market”, on page 75. It is priced at $575 and the book was written 9 yrs. ago.
The BELT BUCKLE is a slightly domed oval that measures 3 1/4” L x 2 1/8” W, with a double silver outline on an oxidized back, with 4 turquoise rectangular cut stones, set with channel inlay top & bottom on center. There are 13 turquoise cabochons set in smooth bezels and 14 large sterling silver drops between each stone completing the field. The buckle is a peg style belt hook with a swivel bar accommodating a 1 1/2” belt with ease.
The BOLO TIE / Pendant is an exact replica of the buckle, only smaller and measures 2 7/8” L x 1 3/4” W. There are 10 turquoise cabochons & 11 large sterling silver drops along with the 4-turquoise stone inlay top and bottom. The Pendant features a Bennett Style Clasp, securing the braided leather tie. There are 2 sterling silver & turquoise fleur-de-lis style dangles off the sterling silver cones at the ends of the tie.
The CUFF is a magnificent piece featuring 19 turquoise cabochons in smooth bezels, with 20 sterling silver drops between them. The turquoise channel inlay at the top & bottom are outlining over half the face of the cuff top & bottom. The double sterling silver outline surrounds the entire cuff over an oxidized back. The cuff is marked 5 1/4, which will fit a 6 1/2” wrist (small to medium). The top of the cuff measures 1 7/8” W and tapers to 1 3/8” at the wrist opening. * * This particular cuff cannot be easily adjusted because of the channel inlay and care must be taken to adjust only the ends towards the wrist opening. Because of the channel inlay damage can be caused if one tries to bend the cuff from the top * *
*~* This Gorgeous Set has a striking appearance & is quite stunning when worn en masse.
