Dates from the 18th century,England, with a gorgeous black background metal tray with floral hand painting in the center of deep red, lavender, blue, cream and green. Although not signed, the quality is evident in the down turned metal lip embellished with dainty gilt painting and inlaid with mother of pearl which is all intact as seen in a Jennens Bettridge piece.
Extremely sturdy piece with tray fitting snugly over the frame, the hand made table itself a work of art in construction. Due to the age of the 1700's piece, very slight lose to small areas of the black background paint only. However, the black is so dark it is not noticeable nor a future threat, just a mention. The stand in wonderful condition as well. Stunning piece.
Measures 31 L X 26.5 W X 28 H to top of raised lip,27 H to table height.
