Metal 1950's Hostess Mold Set for french frying small molds to fill as appetizers, desserts hor d'oeuvres. The eight designs are on one wheel which is detachable from the handle for easy cleaning. They include a Rosette, Bell, Butterfly, Fish, Heart, Pie Slice, Star and Cracker. The recipe for the frying batter and directions are included. Simple ingredients of sugar, flour, cornstarch, eggs, water and oil for deep frying in a skillet or pan as are not deep molds.

After the molds are cooled, can be filled with anchovies, vegetables, creamed food, hamburger, sea food, cheese tidbits, hot and cold salads, a-la king dishes, au grautin food, puddings, berries, jello, custard filling, ire cream, stewed fruit, frozen fruit, sherbet or tarts. Comes packed in original box.
