A CHILD'S BOOK OF HOURS authored by Constance & Noel Irving and published by Humphrey Milford, London, England. Undated but printed very early 1900's. This book is over 100 years old. In original light brown dust jacket with pictorial cover and lettering in black and red. Dust jacket is very good with water staining to upper spine and bleeds onto right and left corners of jacket outside upper spine. Chipping to top edges front and back of upper edges and light wrinkling to a portion of jacket. Tan colored illustrated paper covered front board is bright and clean, and rear board with some light soiling and a light scratch just below top of board. Slight fraying to cloth spine top and bottom edges and wrinkling to cloth at spine margins. Internally near fine, end pages clean, text block straight, strong linen hinges and all pages printed on thick cardboard leaves. There are 13 splendid chromolithographic brightly colored illustrations including the frontis illustration. There are no loose, torn or missing pages and hinged binding is solid. Height of book is 14 3/4" and width is 9 1/2". Unpaginated (no page numbers), however there are 32 pages as called for including the forward at beginning of book and all illustrations present. This book is complete and dust jacket protected in a clear acid free mylar covering.
