A first edition copy that is in very good condition and internally almost near fine with scattered smudges on first few pages. Otherwise clean and the twelve full page color illustrations by Maud Humphrey are clean, bright and colorful. Front and rear boards have same illustration and the boards show light soiling, edge wear and corner tip wear, however, still very good and colorful. Wear to blue top and bottom spine covering. This is a rare Maud Humphrey edition and very difficult to locate elsewhere. This book is complete and has no loose, torn or missing pages and binding is tight.
