A clean, well cared for edition that is complete with no loose, torn or missing pages and binding is tight. Green cloth boards clean with lettering to both boards and spine covering in gilt and vignettes in gilt. Illustrated end pages clean and pages clean, supple and with just the slightest hint of toning. Rackham illustrations bright, colorful and clean and all captioned tissue guards present. Top edge of text block in gilt. A very nice, near fine copy.
Measurements are 9 3/4" x 7 1/2". 224 pages as called for and black and white line drawing vignette at end of story on page 224.
