This Built Rite Garage is unused and was made to go with the Built Rite line of dollhouses manufactured by Warren Paper Products Company of Lafayette, Indiana in the 1930s. Made from heavy duty cardboard this miniature garage comes complete in its box and has not been punched out. It is constructed by connecting the pieces with tabs and putting them in the base of the box. The box's tabs are unbroken and pristine. Lithographed with bright colors and texture this dollhouse miniature is in excellent, unused condition.
Warren Paper Products was founded in 1921 by Donald M. Warren as a manufacturer of paper boxes for makers of candy, apparel, jewelry, and other items. During the second World War, toys were not being imported from Germany and Mr Warren saw an opportunity to develop items to fill in the void.
This adorable dollhouse kit is complete with a little dog and a tree. This is Set Number 7 in the Built-Rite series. When assembled it measure approximately 8 inches tall by 7 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The box measures 7 1/4 inches x 7 3/4 inches by 3/4 inch . The pieces are in mint unused condition without any creases, tears or edge wear. The cardboard parts have never been punched or folded. There is some very light bumping on the box's corners. This will be shipped First Class Package unless otherwise requested.
