Robin Hood and His Merry Men Of Sherwood Forest is a Harrett Gilmar game from the 1950s. This amazing vintage game board has a pop up 3d feature with a bulls eye, "royal treasury" and "kings deer" that all pop up from the board. Four playing pieces are cardboard figures on a wooden stand. Characters include Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet and Alan A-Dale. There are three wooden pegs for each character as well as cardboard discs representing English pound currency.
This 1950s board game has brilliant colors and is complete with the instructions and all playing pieces. The object of the game is to share the travels and adventures of Robin Hood and be the first to collect 10,000 pounds to aid the poor. The pop up game is in excellent vintage condition with no major problems. The lid of the box has two ripped corners. The box measures 13 1/2" x 12 1/2".
