"Astro The Wizard From Mars Question and Answer Game" was produced by Peerless Playthings, Company of Ridgefield Park, NJ. The box reads, "Knows All! Tells All! Automatically With His Magic Pointer. It Works Magically!! no Batteries Needed". The game has a Question base (yellow) and an Answer base (red). You have discs with topics including "Sports", "Science", "General", "History", and "Geography" (there is and answers disc for "Space and Astronomy" but the questions disc is missing). You put the disc on the base and point the Martian to the question you want the answer to. Put the Martian on the answer disc and presto! --- he points right to the correct answer.
Dating from around the 1950s, the is a RARE vintage space game in very good condition. The box has some bumping at the corners and lifting over the "S" on the cover's top and side. There are some indentations on the lid where it appears other games sat on top of the box. The inside has its original turquoise and white striped base which holds the pieces. The Martian is red with a yellow base. There is one disc missing as previously mentioned, but the other discs are present and in good condition with a couple of discs have some old tape on them which doesn't seem to be covering any tears. The game box measures 18 1/4" x 8" and weighs approximately 1 pound.
