These fun and colorful cut outs were produced by the Holt, Rinehart and Winston Company. Included in this educational material set are seven pieces each depicting men in different outfits and different action. A derby clad man in a suit carries a book (perhaps a professor). An African American man wears a hat and has his hands in his pockts A tradesman has his arms crossed across his chest and sports a hankerchief in his back pants pocket. A man carries a bag of groceries with a loaf of bread peeking out of the bag. A seated or squatting man seems to be pointing his finger in explanation. A bald man in a suit stands with his hands behind his back. Finally, a "MOD" man in a Hawaiian sirt stands with one palm open in an expressive stance.

Each piece is die cut and has magnets on the back for making various scenes. The colors are vibrant and the detail wonderful in these vintage teaching tools.

Measurements in inches (approximately) :

Holt, Rinehart and Winston started in the United States in 1866 by two businessmen named Henry Holt and Frederick Leypoldt. They started the parent company known as Henry Holt and Company. In 1960 Holt Rinehart and Winston Textbooks became a subsidiary of Henry Holt and Company and established its position as a leader in the educational publishing world
