This is the inscription on this lovely embossed German postcard. The "F" in the word friendship is a deep hue of purple. The rest of the word is in a gilded copper. The entire word is framed in a lovely embossed gilded design. Gilded gold chains frame the card while a basket of violets sits at the bottom right corner.
This postcard is used with a stamp, postmark and message. The back of the card is marked "B B London & New York Series No E359 Printed in Germany". It is postmarked June 1911. The address and correspondence are written in pen. The stamp is a once Cent green Benjamin Franklin.
This vintage post card is in very good condition. It has a small bit of soil on the front and minimally bumped corners.
