These two art postcards are from different parts of the world. Mainz, Germany has had a carnival every year since 1838. The Mainz Carnival is a months-long city-wide carnival celebration in Mainz, Germany that traditionally begins on 11 November but culminates in the days before Ash Wednesday in the spring. This is 100 year anniversary of the carnival with jester artwork by Rogge Mainz. The post card is in very good, unused condition.

The second post card features a woman standing under a tree in what is described on the back of the card as "Tipical dress of Mexico". The post card was produced by Mexfotocolor - Pipicas and is in used condition with a Mexican stamp. It is in good vintage condition with the remnants of a post mark stamp on the front.
