West German Paper Hat With Vintage Song / Vintage Ephemera / Party Hat
West German paper hat with vintage song on the inside. This vintage ephemera features the words to a famous German song, "Ich Kauf' mir liber einen Tiroler Hut". Translated it means, "I prefer to buy a Tyrolean hat". These Alpine hats are also known as a tiroler hat. This paper party hat features a green base with blue flowers and black feathers extending from the top of the pointed hat. The inside of the hat has lyrics for the song recorded by Bill Mo that was a big hit in Germany in 1963. The red brim of the hat has music notes as well as the first line of the song. The inside of the hat is marked, "Copyright by Karl Heinz Busse Musikveriag Munchen 15 Modell ges. gesch. Made in West Germany".
The hat is made of heavy cardboard and has an elastic band to keep it on your head. It is new old stock unused, excellent condition.
This fun party hat would be great for a child's birthday, vintage music or ephemera collection.
