This vintage calendar print is an amazing piece of vintage ephemera. The die cut art print features a girl collecting water at a well. Underneath her is a pocket featuring an horned goat running among the grass. This beautiful antique print was printed in Germany and is an amazing example of some of their best craftsmanship at the turn of the century.
Salesman would bring various artwork for customers to choose from when deciding on promotional advertising for their companies. This salesman sample is bordered on one side by a lovely lilac bush and on on the other a sweet country cottage. This calendar art is in amazing vintage condition with only some minor bumping on the bottom corners and a small spot of paper missing on one of the extending leaves on the left side and a tiny crease on one of the flowers at the top (see photos).
This vintage salesman sample calendar art measures approximately 16 1/2 inches tall and is 11 3/4 inches wide. The pocket when laid flat measures approximately 10 inches wide and is 4 1/2 inches tall. All the tabs on the insert are present and in excellent condition. The bottom front of the art print is marked, "Printed in Germany" and has the number 11437 on the left bottom corner. This piece will be sandwiched between stiff cardboard and shipped First Class mail unless otherwise requested. Insurance on such a rare and delicate piece is required and will be reflected in the shipping quote.
