Antique aqua blue glass patch box with lovely enamel work in white, gold, blue and pink. Brass frame around the lid and box with a hinge and small curled tab clasp.
Patch boxes were used for small fake beauty spots which were very fashionable during 18th and 19th centuries. The pontil mark shows the hand blown nature of the glass attributed to Moser.
