Antique Moser aqua blue glass patch box with lovely enamel work in white, gold, blue and pink. Gilded brass frame around the lid and box with a hinge and small curled tab clasp.
Patch boxes were used for small beauty spots which were very fashionable during 18th and 19th centuries. The pontil mark shows the hand blown nature of the glass. This delightful vanity box measures 2 1/2" in diameter and stands approximately 1 1/4" tall. It is in very good vintage condition with a strong clasp and intact enameling. There is some light spotting on the frame.
