Art Deco buckle pin featuring a row of channel set amethyst rhinestones down the center of the buckle with white rhinestone accents. The articulated brickwork links set off the rhinestones beautifully. This vintage brooch hangs from a row of white rhinestones and features locking C clasp closure on the back. The signed jewelry piece is marked "dorsons 1/20 12K G.F."
Dorsons was a jewelry company formed in 1922 in New York by D. Ornstein and Sons. The last known production by this company is circa 1950. Dorsons were well-known for producing high-end jewelry. This estate jewelry pin measures 2 3/8" in length and is 1 1/4" at its widest point. It is in very good vintage condition with some very light scuffing and one slightly yellowed stone at the top.
An amazing rhinestone brooch for your hat, purse, lapel or dress.
