"Symmetalic" jewelry was developed in 1936 using a layer of 14k gold fused to sterling. This spray brooch features undulating leaves with amethyst, and other semi precious stones as accents. Symmetalic jewelry was produced by the W. E. Richards Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. There jewelry was very good quality silver, gold-plated silver, and low-carat gold jewelry. This spray is signed with a soldered tag: "Symmetalic Sterling + 14K". It measures 3 1/8 inches by 1 inch and is in excellent vintage condition. It has a roll over safety clasp.
A hard to find vintage pin from a quality company with great style.
