"The Young Folk's Book of Discovery" was written by T.C. Bridges and illustrated in black and white as well as color by various illustrators and photographers. This vintage book was published by Little, Brown, and Company and copyrighted 1925. Contents include chapter entitled: "The Beginning of Exploration", "Cortes in Mexico", "The Arctic Seas", "Hawkins and Drake", and "Early African Exploration" to name just a few. The book has tan cloth boards with a paste-down illustrations as well as a border in green and title in red. It is 263 pages in length and is in good vintage condition with some soiling and bumping on the covers. The pages are clean and the binding it tight.
