"That Happy Feeling of Thank You", is an inspirational book written by Peter Stillman and Illustrated by Judy Stang.
The dust jacket reads:
This book was written for people who climb trees, wade in puddles, ride on carousels, and know that gratitude isn't just an empty word. Mostly, these are children.
For them, gratitude has special sounds and shapes and smells. In their delightful, knee-high world, "Thank you" is caught in the arc of a rainbos; it is the essence of that first wobbling dash on a two-wheeler; but most of all, it is an expression of the limitless joy of everyday, as God unfolds His wonders to the young.
The text is accompanied by wonderful full-color as well as one color illustrations.
This vintage book was published in 1964 by The C. R. Gibson Company. It is complete with its dust jacket and is in good condition.
The hard cover book has blue cloth boards with a blue title and illustration. There is minor bumping at the corners. Although not marked as such it appears this may have been a library book at one time, as the front and back inside covers have the remnants of a label or pocket. Otherwise, the pages are clean and the binding is tight.
The dust jacket has some soiling and wear along the edges with small tears hear and there (see photos).
