"The Story of Mesa Verde National Park - America's sublime antiquity has the lure of a mystery greater than the ruined cities of the old world. Presented by the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad"
This colorful pamphlet isn't dated but was probably produced in the 1930s. The booklet has colored illustrations throughout as well as a map showing the "Mesa Verde National Park Motor Tour". This small pamphlet features an essay about the park and its archaeology by Colorado newspaper editor Joseph Emerson Smith.
The cover is wonderfully illustrated and oversized for the inside pages. This soft-cover booklet is highly sought after by tourism and railroadiana collectors. It is in good vintage condition with some chipping and wear to the cover (see photos). The inside staple binding is intact and the pages are clean. The pamphlet measures approximately 10 1/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches and will be SHIPPED FREE US Media Mail (domestic orders only).
