"Why I Built The Boogle House" was written by Helen Palmer with photographs by Lynn Fayman. This rare, collectible book is a rare and hard-to-find children's book that is fun to read at any age. Published in 1964, this is a first edition.
The story tells the tale of a boy who gets his first pet -a turtle. He builds it a house but low and behold, the turtle is gone the next day. The boy continues getting pets and making additions to the house he builds for each one.
The black and white photos are great fun to see as the story progresses (as do the animal sizes!)
This vintage hard-cover book is in good condition. There is some soiling on the front and back covers (see photos) as well as some bumping on the cover's edges and spine.. There is some separation on the cover's corners and spine. The pages are clean and the binding is tight. The book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches and will be shipped Media mail unless otherwise requested (additional charges will apply).
