"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea or The Marvelous and Exciting Adventures of Pierre Aronna, Conseil, his Servant, and Ned Land, a Canadian Harpooner" was written by Jules Verne.This 1931 edition was a part of the "Famous Books for Young Americans" and published by A. L. Burt Co., New York. This hard-cover book has one illustration on the frontispiece but does not name the illustrator.

This early science fiction book has blue cloth boards with a gilded and blue paste down illustration and title. The book is in good vintage condition. There is some bumping on the corners and shelf wear on the spine (see photos). There is a split of the fabric at the spine but the fabric is intact. The pages are minimally yellowed and otherwise clean and tightly bound. This collectible book measures approximately 10 1/2 inches by 6 inches and will be shipped Media Mail unless otherwise requested.
