Peter Painter and the Holidays", was written by Frank Martin Webber and illustrated by Verna Neville. Published by David McKay Company it is copyrighted 1942 and is a first edition. The vintage story book follows the little elf, Peter Painter, as he flies through the holidays and helps with perplexing problems the characters face.

Peter Painter and the Baby New Year
Peter Painter and the Easter Rabbits
Peter Painter on the Fourth of July

Each chapter is accented with full color illustrations (some are full page as well). The vintage hard-cover book is in very good condition. The illustrated board covers have a black fabric spine. There is some mild bumping at the corners as well as some light scuffing along the edges (see photos). There are a couple of finger marks on a page or two but otherwise the pages are clean and the binding is tight. The book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches and will be shipped First Class unless otherwise requested.

A delightful story book to share with children during any of the holidays. It will surely become a holiday favorite.
