This great old magazine features a look into the nightlife of New York with lists of shows playing at the time (i.e. The Little Foxes, The Hot Mikado, and One for the Money, to name just few. Another list of the hottest clubs in New York includes the Cotton Club, Jack Dempsey's, Sardi's and the Eighteen Club. Also included is wonderful vintage advertising for everything from automobiles to perfume. This vintage magazine is packed with black and white photographs of the top Hollywood screen and New York stage stars of the time. A "Radio Highlights" list in the back give you the times and shows you could listen to in various genres -- Popular music, drama & variety, Classical music, etc.

This vintage periodical is in good condition. The cover features a full color picture of Florence Eldridge and Fredric Mrch from "The American Way" playing on Broadway. The cover has some scuffing and wear around the edges. There are small creases at the corners. The magazine has a tear along the right edge which goes through the magazine. There is some fading along the stapled binding. The binding is tight and the pages are clean.
