"L'Art De Faberge" was written by John Booth and published by L'Olympe. This stunning book is written in French and examines the history of Fabrege, his works and his life. Peter Carl Faberge was a court jeweler to the czars and his name is synonymous with beauty, craftsmanship, and sumptuous excess. Featured in full color are sketches of some of his designs as well full color photographs of jewelry, compacts and so much more. Of course his enameled eggs are featured prominently as he was renowned for these ittle treasures.
This hard-cover book has it's original dust jacket and is in very good condition. The dust jacket has some minor scuffing and a bit of wear along the edges (see photos). The inside of the book is pristine and looks like it was never opened. This vintage art book measures approximately 13 inches by 9 3/4 inches and will be shipped Media Mail unless otherwise requested.
A stunning art history book that would make an amazing gift for any Faberge collector.
