"My Bedtime Book" is A Big Golden Book illustrated by Garth Williams. This is a 1964 edition of a delightful book to read to your little ones at bedtime. The vintage book was illustrated by Garth Williams. The book contains two stories and three poems. "Animal Friends" was written by Jane Werner Watson about a small house in the woods where a family of animals lived. "Mister Dog" was written by Margaret Wise Brown about Crispian the dog and his little boy friend. "From The Friendly Book", by Margaret Wise Brown, there are three poems: "I Like Cars", "I Like Trains", and "I Like People".
Each story has adorable full color pictures of animals and people in all types of settings.
This vintage kid's book is in very good condition. The illustrated board cover has a piece of the cellophane cover that is lifted and both of the cover's right corners are severely bumped. The back cover seems to have the same flaws although the bumping isn't quite as bad. The front end-paper has an inscription written in pen. The pages are otherwise clean and the binding is tight. The book measures approximately 12 3/4 inches by 9 3/8 inches and will be shipped Media Mail unless otherwise requested.
This is a wonderful vintage book that is a perfect read-aloud book and would be a welcome gift for any little book worms.
