"Lockheed Horizons" Issue Twelve, was published in June of 1983 as a 50th anniversary edition of Lockheed's history. It contains wonderful full color as well as black and white photos of everything from the NASA space shuttle Columbia to the various airplanes and rockets Lockheed made in its first 50 years. This soft cover book is quite a neat collectible for any aerospace enthusiast or aviation history buff.
In the forward, Chairman Roy Anderson writes, "(this book) is a technical history, looking back on Lockheed's technical accomplishments and management since the beginnings of each of its companies -- starting with the 1913 flying boat built by the brothers whose name the corporation bears. Many of the aviation and aerospace industry's great names appear in these pages."

This vintage aviation book is 156 pages in length and is in very good vintage condition. It has a pictorial cover with some scuffing and remnants of a label.
