"Faultless Starch Library Red Riding Hood" was published by the Faultless Starch Co of Kansas City. This little advertising childrens book was a premium when mom bought her starch for dad's collars and her petticoats. This vintage paper ephemera printed a complete set of 36 children's stories. The company produced these from the 1890s through the 1930s. What is fun about these now, is that they engaged in "product placement" throughout these little pamphlets. Wherever possible, a character is doing the wash and what's on the table or shelf? ---FAULTLESS STARCH! The back of the advertising booklet is an illustration of the Faultless Starch box.
This little booklet is printed in orange ink and has line illustrations scattered throughout. The booklet measures 5 inches by 3 inches and is in good vintage condition. The paper has yellowed and is slightly brittle. The color is bright and the staple binding is intact. This collectible booklet will be packed with a cardboard backing and shipped First Class Mail unless otherwise requested.
This is a great piece to fill out your collection or to frame for any nursery decor.
