"Hans In Luck" is a Grimm tale revised and illustrated by David McKee. This vintage children's storybook was copyrighted 1967 and published by Abelard-Schuman. When Hans's seven years' wages in gold proves too heavy, he trades it for one thing after another until he arrives home empty-handed but convinced he is a lucky man.
This read aloud book has wonderful mid-century styled illustrations in gold, purple, black and brown. The hard cover book has illustrated board covers and is in very good vintage condition. There is some mild bumping on the corners but no wear to the spine. The inside pages are clean and the binding is tight. 8 1/4 by 7 1/4 inches and will be shipped First Class Mail unless otherwise requested.
