"Lessons On Form A Manual of Free-Hand Drawing" was written by A. Blunk, Architect. This revised edition was published by J H Jansen and copyrighted 1918. This wonderful vintage art book gives prepared lessons on drawing. The preface reads, "The following Lessons on Form are prepared with the object of initiating the pupil into what Form and Ornament mean, and are arranged with great care. The teacher who follows the directions given in these Lessons is certain to infuse a genuine spirit and love of the subject into his class, without which no instructions of any kind can be either profitably taught or properly learned."
The oversized, hard cover book has blue grid patterns underneath each visual assignment. Figural drawing, architectural ornaments, and nature subjects are all included. This out of print drawing book is 124 pages in length. It has rust red cloth covers and is in good vintage condition. The cover is in fair condition with staining on the front and back covers and some bumping at the corners and spine's edges. The inside pages are in much better condition.
