"Nip and Tuck" was written and illustrated by Leila Crocheron Freeman. This RARE first edition was published by J H Sears and Company and copyrighted in 1926. This is a highly collectible and hard to find book has delightfully whimsical illustrations of Nip and Tuck --two little elves. The book takes you on the pair's adventures in the woods, in Candyland, at Halloween and at Christmas. Eight great color plates and numerous black and white illustrations throughout the text (plus color end papers) accompany the stories and will delight any reader.
This children's literature book is in very good condition. It has orange cloth boards with a full color paste down illustration and black embossed title. The spine features an embossed title and decoration. The pages have some minor soiling here and there. The cover has some mild bumping on the corners and some light scuffing and scratches on the paste-down illustration. The binding is tight and the pages are minimally yellowed. The book measures 11 3/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches and will be shipped Media Mail unless otherwise requested.
