This two volume box set features the collection of "Grimm's Fairy Tales" as edited by Louis and Bryna Untermeyer illustrated by Lucille Corcos. This collector's book set was published by Heritage press and copyrighted 1962. Grimm's Fairy Tales are an invaluable piece of children's literature that are cherished by every generation. Full color illustrations as well as black and white line drawing are scattered throughout both volumes.
The book divides the children's stories into these categories: Volume 1 Enchanted Beings Magic and Spells
Volume 2 Hidden Heroes and Heroines Odd Narratives and Tall Tales Fools, Sluggards, Wise Folk, and Busy People Death and the Devil Moralities Animals and Inanimates
Both volumes come in their original slipcases. The book's covers are tan/yellow with embossed gilded geese. Volume One has one goose, Volume Two has two geese. This 2 volume boxed set is in pristine condition and looks to have never been read. The covers are clean and the slipcases show extremely minimal shelf wear.
