"Order of The Arrow Handbook" is part of the Boy Scouts of American guide books. This is a 50th Anniversary Edition of this hand book for boys. According to the Boy Scouts of American web site the "Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, developing leaders, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich, support, and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.
This edition of the hand book was presented to a young man at the 50th anniversary National Conference in 1965 at the Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana as documented on the inside front cover.
The book contains sections including: Membership Training Opportunities Ceremonies Future Service for Arrowmen Insignia Literature, and Indian Costumes ...and several more.

Black and white as well as photographs are dotted throughout the book. A full color, paste-down illustration is on the frontispiece. The pages are otherwise clean and the binding is tight.
