"The Beautiful Life of Frances E Willard - Memorial Edition" was written by Anna A Gordon. Frances Willard was a leader of the Woman's Temperance Movement at the end of the 1800's. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. Among the character sketches are contributions by Elizabeth Stuart Phelps Ward, Susan B. Anthony, Booker T. Washington, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Maud Ballington Booth and Dwight L. Moody.
This vintage book is replete with photographs of Ms Willard, her family, and the places she lived and worked. The book was published by The Woman's Temperance Publishing Association and copyrighted 1898. It is 416 pages in length. it has grey cloth covers with embossed gilded titles and decoration. This American history book is in good vintage condition. There is some soiling on the front cover with some light bumping at the corners and mild shelf wear of the spine. The pages are clean and the binding is tight.
This book measures 9 3/4" x 7 1/4" and weighs approximately 2 pounds 12 ounces.
