This lot of three blotters include advertising for "Bauer & Co Insurance", "Firemen's Insurance Company of Newark, NJ" and "John Hancock".
The Bauer blotter is also a calendar for July, August and September of 1942. This blotter is in good vintage condition with some mild soiling and bumped edges. It measures 9" x 3 3/4".
The John Hancock blotter reads, "Your premium remittance is acknowledged with thanks, and official receipt is enclosed. It took but one drop of ink to write "John Hancock"". This blotter is in very good vintage condition with only some slight yellowing. It measures 6" x 2 3/4".
The Firemen's Insurance Company blotter reads, "Organized 1855 and gives the total amount of money the company holds. This blotter is from Avalon, New Jersey. It is in fair condition with some light soiling and chipping of the edges. There is a tear at the top. It measures 9" x 3 3/4".
