" Julia Harrington" was written by Richard Bissell and is the story of one year in the life of a small town as seen by a schoolgirl through illustrations reproduced from original advertisements, mail-order catalogues, and other period pieces of the early 1900s. Julia tells her own story through her memories, impressions, heart and mind and in her own special language, direct, honest and perceptive.
