Hopalong Cassidy and the Bar 20 Cowboy is a vintage Little Golden Book published in 1952. This western collectible book features characters based on Clarence Mulford's television series starring William Boyd as the cowboy who had it all -- looks, brains and the best horse around (Topper). It was written by E M Beecher and illustrated by Sahula-Ducke.
This is the story of Ricardo who wants to be a cowboy more than anything. So what does the little cowboy do? He goes out into the prairie, ropes a wild pony and breaks and brands him only to have him taken away by the bad guys. That's where Hopalong comes in to save the day.
This1952 copyrighted book is a "B" second printing of LGB #147. It is in very good vintage condition with a sturdy binding with clean pages. It has some light shelf wear on the corners and foil spine.
A great collectible book for those who love the west, vintage television memorabilia or just to share with the child in your life.
