Three Children's Activities magazines. December 1975, June 1956 and September 1956. Christmas and Vacation editions along with a back-to-school edition. Each magazine contains illustrated stories, children's crafts, special features and verses and songs.
Highlights include: September: Basic Tools and How to Use Them, Mr Squigums Celebrates a Birthday, and The School Bus Song. The paper doll is Martha Washington
June: Story "Circus Town USA", A Hobo Picnic, Pic The Apple Game and the paper doll is Leela A Girl from India
December: A Christmas Party, A Bena Bag Gift, Fun In The Kitchen and the paper doll is Annabelle's Christmas with a Christmas tree included.
Also included in each edition is a paper doll with cut out clothes to color associated with the magazine's season. Well known illustrators such as Maurieta Wellman and Guy Brown of Little Brown Bear fame are included.
Of course there's the wonderful vintage advertising for things like a Junior Planetarium, Moonscope and the Silver King bicycle.
These vintage magazines are in good condition. The Christmas edition has a tear at the spine's bottom to the first staple and has yellowed pages. The September issue has a 1 1/2" tear on the cover along the right edge (see photos) and the pages are minimally yellowed. The June issue is in excellent vintage condition.
