"Delightful Dolls Antique and Otherwise" was written by Thelma Bateman. Ms. Bateman also took all the photographs for the book, which is filled with close-ups of dolls faces as well as doll placed in vignettes. The book was published in 1966 by Hobby House Press.
In her preface Ms. Bateman writes, "This book was approached from the standpoint that dolls are alive, little people--having feelings, personalities and idiosyncrasies of their own; that they do thing or refuse to do them--just like children.
The book has brown cloth covers and is in good vintage condition. The cover has some spotting and bumping at the corners. There are a few smudges at the top corners of some of the first pages and there is an owner's label inside the front cover.
Great for a doll collector or lover.
