"Centered Riding" was written by Sally Swift, photographed by Mike Noble and illustrated by Jean MacFarland. Published by Trafalgar Square Farm Book it was copyrighted 1985 and this is a stated first edition.
In her introduction, Ms Swift writes, "What I do here is offer all riders a new approach to riding based on some mental and physical images that I have developed over many years. It is a centered approach, resulting in perfect body balance and an inner awareness of both yourself and your horse."
The book contains countless illustrations illuminating her methods as well as photographs exemplifying both the correct and incorrect ways to use her methods.
The book has light green board covers with blue cloth binding. It is 198 pages in length and is in very good vintage condition. There is some soiling and/or spotting on the top and sides of the cover. The pages are minimally yellowed and the binding is tight.
