"The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Tom Sawyer's Comrade)" was written by Mark Twain. This Harper & Brothers edition is illustrated by Worth Brehm and copyrighted 1923.
This vintage book features the antics of Huck and his companions that we all grew up with. This edition has black cloth covers with a paste-down illustration. The illustrations are marvelously done by Mr. Brehm in dark blue and white with captions under each one.
The book has un-trimmed edges and is in good vintage condition. There is some scuffing and scratching on the cover's paste-down illustration and a small stain on the bottom right corner. The corners are lightly bumped and the spine has some light lifting of the fabric on the top inch. The pages are minimally yellowed and the binding is tight. There is a pencil inscription on the first page reading "Christmas '43 Mrs. Caman". It measures 8 3/4" x 6".
