Milk Glass Artichoke Covered Dish which was made by Vallerysthal Glass in France. It dates back to the 1880's. It is shaped like an Artichoke with all the petals folding over each other. It is 6" tall and is in good condition for being over 100 years old. All I can find are some very small nicks on the underside of the rim and on the footed base there is a line which has gotten dirt in it. It is not unusual for Milk Glass items this old, however it may come out with bleach. I haven't tried it.
