Milk Glass Old Oaken Bucket which was made by Westmoreland Specialty in the 1890's. This piece was made as a Condiment Container. It has a rough surface and was painted brown to simulate wood. This one still has almost 100% of the original paint. It also has a wire bail handle. It is marked with the number 2 which is how Westmoreland Specialty marked the molds prior to becoming Westmoreland Glass. This Bucket is 3 1/2" tall x 3" across. For those of you who would like a piece of history this Old Wooden Bucket is from the Rush Pinkston collection. Rush was a Charter Member of the NMGCS and when he passed away his milk glass went to auction in 1995. The silver sticker for Rush Pinkston is still on the base.
