The Bobbsey Twins at Indian Hollow Childrens Book 1940 Laura Lee Hope.
This is one of the ever-popular Bobbsey Twins series of childrens books with adventure stories of the Bobbsey family, including their two sets of fraternal twins, Nan and Bert, age 12 and Flossie and Freddie, age 6. This book was written by Laura Lee Hope; other authors wrote the Twins books in the series also.
Published in 1940 by Grosset & Dunlap in New York and illustrated by Marie Schubert.
Hard back cover has a tweed appearance with graphics in a green floral printed diamond design; two of the twins with their dog are in a large diamond design at the top of the cover.
Book is in very good condition with wear consistent with age and use; corners are somewhat bumped; binding is tight; top of book spine has a small tear. Inside are 214 slightly yellowed pages with no tears; I see no writing in the book with the exception of a previous owner’s name handwritten in pencil on the inside leaf.
Book measures 7-5/8-inches tall; 5-1/4-inches wide and 7/8-inch thick.
